Is there a cost to be listed?
Basic listings are completely free. We want to connect farmers with buyers, so there's no charge to have your farm in our directory.
How do I update my listing information?
Contact us through our contact form with your farm name and the changes you'd like to make. We'll update your listing promptly.
What does "Verified" mean on a breeder listing?
Verified breeders have confirmed their contact information and farm details with us. This helps buyers know they're reaching out to legitimate farms.

Getting Started
I'm new to raising sheep/goats. Where do I start?
Check out our Resources section for beginner guides. We recommend starting with our Beginner's Guide to Raising Sheep or Goat Farming for Beginners.
How do I choose the right breed?
The best breed depends on your goals (meat, milk, wool, or pets), climate, and available land. Our Breeds Guide provides detailed information on each breed's characteristics, and our article on Sheep vs Goats can help you decide which species is right for you.
How much land do I need?
Land requirements vary by region and management style. Generally, plan for 2-6 sheep per acre or 4-8 goats per acre on good pasture. Read our detailed guide on How Much Land You Need for Sheep for specific recommendations.
